San Diego DUI Deputies report a very serious injury accident today shortly after 4:00 a.m. when one twenty-three year-old hispanic female adult in a Ford Expedition westbound at 1600 Olivenhain Road lost control of the vehicle & drove into the eastbound lanes, lawyers are told.

The solo occupant hit the eastside curb causing the vehicle jump the curb, strike a retaining wall and a tree causing the vehicle to rollover and land on its side.

She unfortunately was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Paramedics also responded to the scene so she was airlifted to Scripps Hospital, La Jolla where it was determined she had serious facial and internal injuries but was expected to live.

Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the collision and the female was detained/arrested for Drunk Driving but released to the hospital's care.

She was driving on a suspended license for DUI and currently on San Diego California DUI probation, attorneys are told.
